Harrigan Solutions Advocates for Trauma Informed Workplaces at Greater Milwaukee Committee Meeting

Harrigan Solution’s Bill Harrigan had the opportunity to be on the panel of the September 2019 Greater Milwaukee Committee Membership Meeting focusing on Scaling Wellness in Milwaukee (SWIM), a community trauma initiative within the human services, healthcare, educational and criminal justice sectors, that is bringing Wisconsin to the forefront of the trauma informed care movement. This initiative, lead by Marquette University President Mike Lovell and his wife, Amy, a mental health activist, aims to “inspire a dynamic collaboration that heals trauma and creates a resilient community.”

The panel included many others who advocate for the creation of a trauma responsive community, including Ralph Metzner of FEI Behavioral Health, Frank Cumberbatch of Bader Philanthropies, Alicia Dupies of Capri Communities, and Bill Krugler of Milwaukee JobsWork.
