Built for Speed and Reliability: Harrigan’s Pit Crew Model for Sanitation
May 12, 2026We’re excited to introduce Leon Ruiz-Parelli as Harrigan Sanitation Solutions’ new Senior Operations Manager.
With more than 17 years leading sanitation and operations across multiple facilities and states, Leon has worked in some of the most demanding food manufacturing environments in the industry. He brings a proven track record across multi-site management, third-party audit readiness, team training and development.
Over his career, Leon has led sanitation operations at companies including Ajinomoto Foods North America, and Ecowize Group. He’s successfully guided teams through USDA, SQF, and other rigorous regulatory audits, and has a track record of building strong, high-retention teams in high-volume, fast-paced environments. And as a bilingual English and Spanish communicator, he connects effectively with the crews and clients that make this industry run.
“We’re excited to add Leon as we grow to benefit our customers and employees alike,” said Dave Stern, Managing Partner. “His background aligns perfectly with how we operate—reducing customer downtime and helping plants boost both production capacity and profitability. Leon knows what it takes to lead trustworthy teams in demanding environments, and that’s exactly who we are.”
At Harrigan Sanitation Solutions, we believe that trustworthy teams drive results for our customers. That starts with the right people in the right roles. Leon’s depth of experience, safety-first mindset, and leadership capabilities make him an excellent fit for who we are and where we’re going.
