Metalworking Fluid & Process Filtration Expertise:

  • Bill Harrigan started the business over 25 years ago after having worked in account management and on-site service for a metalworking fluids manufacturer. He continues to develop the company with a focus on bridging productivity and profit gaps for metalworking companies. This focus has led to the development of team shown below.

  • Jim Joseph has over 40 years of experience, and is the nation's foremost authority on metalworking filtration.  He literally wrote the book on filtration.  Jim has been a consultant to leading chemical suppliers, engine builders and other manufacturers that are interested in an optimized approach to metalworking fluid filtration and handling.
  • Michael Langhoff has 25 years of experience in filtration & centrifuge equipment service and fluid management.  He spent many years with Oberlin Filter working in production and service.  Michael is a lead service and installation provider and a certified Alfa Laval service technician. His broad experience in manufacturing, equipment and fluid management makes him a valuable resource.

  • Jerry Cole has 43 years of experience in centrifugal separation.  During his time with Alfa Laval Inc., he worked in product development engineering, applications engineering and technical sales in centrifugal purification of metalworking and process fluids.

Machining Expertise:

  • Guy Ouellette brings over 24 years of experience in machining to companies that want to improve their profitability.  He started his career as a machinist and worked his way up to Business Unit Manager, overseeing lean manufacturing efforts, production, tooling & quality.   

  • Dan Kitzrow has 24 years of manufacturing experience in machining, refurbishing & painting equipment activities.  He is responsible for project management and overseeing the painting operation.  

Die Casting Expertise:

  • Tony Paladino has 30 years of experience in casting processes, with emphasis on lubrication & lube application equipment.  His experience includes technical liaison work between R&D and product development at Acheson Colloids Company.  He has expertise in product testing and troubleshooting at customer facilities. 

Metallurgical Expertise:

  • Tom Proft of TL Proft & Associates has over 25 years of experience working in material sciences and provides consulting, testing and failure analysis in the areas of metallurgy, welding & heat treating.

Operational Expertise:

  • Dave Stern is a CPA and has over 20 years of experience in value stream mapping, payback models and continuous improvement in manufacturing. He joined Harrigan Solutions in 2006 and has helped with internal and customer CI projects.

  • Steve Yoder has implemented World Class Manufacturing tools and techniques at multiple companies to drastically improve their net incomes. He has over 15 years of Operations leadership experience in both large and small manufacturing companies.  His focus is waste reduction in all aspects of the operation.
  • Jered Yusten services centrifuge and filtration equipment.  He previously was a team lead for centrifuge maintenance in marine applications. He has been with Harrigan since 2007 working in customer and equipment service.
